The jobs we get called for most
A new couch is arriving Saturday and the old one has to be gone by Friday. A parent is downsizing and the basement has to be empty before settlement. A tenant left three rooms of furniture behind and the unit needs to turn over by the first.
Those are our bread and butter, and they all have the same shape: a deadline, something heavy, and nobody with a truck.
Stairs, basements, and tight turns
A lot of Maryland housing stock is rowhomes, split-levels, and older colonials — which means narrow stairwells, low basement ceilings, and doorways that were not built with a sleeper sofa in mind.
We plan for that. If something won't come out in one piece, we take it apart. There's no surcharge for a difficult stairwell, and there's no expectation that you'll help carry.
Renting? A few things worth knowing
If you're clearing a unit before move-out, take date-stamped photos of the empty rooms after we finish. Landlords occasionally dispute what was left behind, and photos end that conversation fast.
We're happy to send you shots of the cleared space before we pull away. Just ask when we arrive.

Do I have to carry anything to the curb?
No. Leave it where it sits. Stairs, basements, tight hallways, and disassembly are all part of the job.
Can you take just one item?
Yes. Single-item pickups are some of our most common jobs — one mattress, one recliner, one dead washing machine.
Do you remove appliances with refrigerant?
Yes, we take refrigerators, freezers, and AC units. They route to a facility that handles refrigerant recovery properly.
